I was getting ready for yet again one summer party when I started to think about new way of wrapping the gift. Why not make it simple and yet beautiful?
Tarvikkeet | You'll need:
- Pahvinen rasia, erimerkiksi keksipaketti | Cardboard box, e.g. cookie or cereal box
- Sakset ja viivotin | Scissors and a ruler
- Kuumaliimaa sekä tavallista paperiliimaa (ei välttämätöntä) | Hot glue and paper glue (later not necessary)
- Lyijykynä ja tussi | Pencil and marker
Avaa kaikki paketin liimapinnat ja leikkaa paketti puoliksi kapeammilta reunoilta. Siisti myös paketin päät yhtä korkeiksi sivujen kanssa.
Open all of the glued sides of the box and cut the box in half from the narrower sides. Cut also the ends to match the sides height.
Käännä laatikko nurinpäin ja liimaa kapeat reunat päätyihin kiinni. Päätä tässä vaiheessa, kummasta laatikosta tulee päälle tuleva kappale. Liimaa sen päätyihin reunapalat niin, että sivut ovat vähän ulkonevat. Näin valmis laatikko on helpompi sulkea.
Turn the box inside out and glue the sides to the end pieces. Decide now which one of the two boxes you just created will be the one on top. Glue the ends of this box so that the sides are bit more wider. This way the box is easy to close.
Kun olet saanut tehtyä laatikot valmiiksi, niin laita ne sisäkkäin. Once the boxes are glued and dried, close the newly created box by putting the other inside the other.
Luonnostele sitten paketin päälle haluamasi kuvio lyijykynällä. Minä halusin tehdä paketista perinteisen näköisen, mutta voit halutessasi vaikka maalata laatikon kokonaan ja tehdä siitä vaikka taideteoksen. Vain taivas on tässä rajana!!!
Draft on the box the drawing you want to draw on it. I made it very normal but you can make it as colorful and neat as you wish. Sky is your only limit!!!
Piirrä sitten tussilla valmis kuvio luonnoksen mukaan. Anna jäljen kuivahtaa hetken ja kumita sitten lyijykynän jäljet pois.
If you drew the decoration on the box like I did, draw now the lines with marker. Let the finished drawing dry for a moment. Then erase any pencil lines that were left visible.
Lahjapaketti on nyt valmis käyttöön! Aikaa sen tekoon meni vain vajaa tunti, joten ainakaan ajasta ei tämän teko ole kiinni :) Hauskoja juhlia! Now the box is ready for use! It took just little less than an hour so time should not be a problem :) Have fun at the party!
